Hello everyone! Welcome to my website! My name is Peyton Ketchum and I’m an artist that focuses on illustration. I do both digital and traditional work but mostly digital work. I like my art to blend both vintage and fantasy with some fall color palettes. The best of both worlds if I do say so myself. I also love creating characters (sometimes they look weird) and making them come to life. My work is more playful storytelling through a series of drawings. But sometimes my series will have a mysterious approach. Hopefully you enjoy!

Artist Statement
The work that I make are from inspirations I have, creating creatures and the charm of vintage aesthetics. I’ve always loved the vintage aesthetics especially in the old black and white horror films. Which is where I was inspired to create these vintage creatures. I gravitate towards fall colors and sometimes dark gothic tones. I use my textured lineart to bring each and every illustration and creature to life. They aren’t only illustrations. Each one of them has their own story to tell.
I love using storytelling in my illustrations. I want my illustrations to tell a story without me even having to put a word in the illustration. I want my illustrations to be something a viewer has to decode. They have to look at the illustration long enough to understand the story.
